So if I have a 100TF machine and a 102TF machine.
Then I have a 2TF machine and a 4TF machine.
Which pair would you expect to have a more noticeable difference?
Yeah, because the development baseline is around hardware that was outdated when it launched in 2013...
Pretty games sell more. The day that stops being the case we will have 60fps be the standard on console.
P.S. That's not happening anytime soon.
Wow somebody that actually gets it. Every gen it is the same "360 will be 60fps" "PS4 will be 60fps" "Series X will be 60fps" No they bloody won't. Every console ever made is fully capable of 60fps, but it's not free. It comes at the expense of visuals and devs know that prettier games sell more like you said.
It cannot currently, but it will.
What are you even talking about? What does Xbox have to do with any of this?
Gotta put the 2 in there. I was about to go off on you claiming a 2013/2014 game is the best looking thing you've ever seen.
Your last two sentences is exactly why I'm not playing the game and waiting for a PS5 patch. I got the "lesser" experience last time around on PS3 and I'm not doing that again.
What does that even mean? The current game will already play on PS5, enhanced only with improved loading times. Then we will get a PS5 patch/version. What could a remaster possibly add on top of that?
Assuming the game doesn't use DSR the only thing that will benefit on PS5 are load times which is pretty pathetic.
Ironically this is exactly why I'm not playing the game. The PS4 version was SO much better that I don't want to play a compromised game and would rather wait for PS5.
Yes, because press coverage of a day 1 patch is SOOOO important.
They solidified themselves with the 360. This gen they backslid.
LOL.
$400 is out of the question and you think it will be $300 smh
No. Even if it was better, people have too much nostalgia for the old stuff.
Nah. I'll buy it and be playing TLoU2, GoT, and Dreams.
That's cool. I still wanna see a sports game differentiate itself for next gen.
Assuming we're seeing games for the first 18 months, I would like to see 25% devoted to sequels, remasters, new IP, and indies respectively.
Probably true. Look what happens to most studios MS buys. Under their control we probably wouldn't have gotten games like Yakuza. Just some persistent multiplayer thing.
GoT and CP2077 have a disadvantage in that they're open world.
Yeah, I'm getting "both" also, but only buying a PS5.
